Kimberly Pete
Founder
Kimberly Pete is the founder of The Pointsaline Group. The company is a veteran, woman, minority owned organization whose mission is furthering broadband adoption in tribal lands. Ms. Pete is a member of the Lac Vieux Desert of Lake Superior Chippewa Indians (LVD) with an extensive background in cross functional project management and planning. She has assembled a world class technology focused Engineering/Operations team that has demonstrated proven results.in developing, building, and managing large scale service provider networks. In addition, she has been active in philanthropic efforts for her tribe.Ms. Pete holds a Bachelor of Science from The Central Michigan University.
Cary Wilson
Senior Advisor
Cary Wilson is a Senior Advisor to The Pointsaline Group and has been working in the North American service provider domain for over 25 years. Mr Wilson has led consulting services across architecture, deployment and operations for tier 1 and tier 2 Telecommunication Service providers. Mr Wilson has demonstrated technical leadership in fixed wireline, satellite, wireless, packet core, IPTV domains. Mr Wilson led the architecture and deployment for Rogers nationwide packetcable deployment in Canada He developed the operationalized the deployment model for Mediacom to expand telecommunication services to rural locations. Mr Wilson directly supported and led TimeWarner Cable’s development of the packet core and IMS strategies as well as operational models. Mr. Wilson led the development teams for TiVo DVR as well as significant development and deployment leadership experience with Comcast’s Xfinity service. Mr. Wilson collaborated with satellite providers (DirecTV, Echostar, ViaStat) to evolve the respective digital TV and broadband services infrastructure. Mr. Wilson earned his BS Operations Engineering from Florida Atlantic University and is currently pursuing a Masters in Machine Learning and AI.
Kevin Noll
Senior Advisor
Kevin Noll is a senior advisor to The Pointsaline Group whose career in the broadband Internet industry spans over 25 years. Acting in engineering and architect roles for tier 1 and tier 2 network operators, Mr. Noll has built and operated networks in rural, urban and suburban areas. Mr. Noll is actively involved in standards development in the Broadband Forum and IEEE, where he is co- chair of IEEE 1904. Mr. Noll is also President and co-founder of Loudoun Broadband Alliance, a non-profit organization that advocates for development of broadband for the unserved and underserved.Mr. Noll earned his BSEE from the University of Central Florida and MSEE from Villanova University. Most recently, Mr. Noll was engaged at Vecima as an architect in the CTO’s office, at Tibit Communications and Time Warner Cable. In each of these roles, he engaged customers in architecture and requirements development, led company efforts in industry standards bodies, and guided efforts to bring unique and innovative fiber access solutions to customers and to the industry.
James Kersnowski
Senior Advisor
With over 50 years experience in telecommunications, Jim Kersnowski has been instrumental in shaping the industry. Known for his pioneering work in fiber-optic technology, Jim's expertise extends to the development and deployment of Voice, Video, and High-Speed Data services. As a Time Warner Cable executive he successfully brokered telecom deals in Japan, Taiwan, France, and the UK. At the forefront of engineering teams serving millions, Jim's strategic vision was key in transitioning over 350,000 plant miles to a GIS platform. Recognized for his decisive and effective leadership, Jim has repeatedly played a vital role in pioneering new technologies and services, consistently pushing the boundaries of innovation in the telecom sector.
Yvette Saunders
Senior Advisor
Yvette Saunders is Senior Advisor to The Pointsaline Group. Ms Saunders is a 30-year veteran in the learning and development field providing training delivery and content development across multiple industries. Most of Ms. Saunders career has been in support of the technology industry, specifically telecommunications. Ms. Saunders worked in many areas including designing and delivering wireless propagation software training for LCC (now Erricson) and creating/delivering thetraining curriculum for Cisco Systems Voice over IP (VoIP) solutions. Ms. Saunders spent 10 years with Time Warner Cable where she held various roles all dedicated to the training, documentation and planning of new product development. Ms. Saunders recently joined SoFi as a Sr. Instructional Designer. In addition, She is a strong proponent of experience-based training. She has stayed current on various trends in the learning and development industry. Ms Saunders is adept at using modern techniques to evaluate training impact and effectiveness. Ms Saunders holds a Bachelor of Science from Shepherd University.
John Callahan
Senior Advisor
John Callahan is a Senior Advisor to The Pointsaline Group. Mr Callahan is a globally recognized senior executive with over 20 years’ experience leading video streaming, product development, and technology organizations. He has served as Chief Technology Officer and senior product engineering leader in organizations large and small including Time Warner Cable, Accenture Digital Video, and ActiveVideo Networks. Mr Callahan has led teams that have been honored with several “Technology Emmys” and is named on more than 20 patents in the video streaming and software technology. Mr Callahan’s has a proven track record of success driving technology evolution and applying it to broadband infrastructure at scale.
